When you copy and paste text using Apple-C / Apple-V you are not only copying the textual data but also the styling of the text. This is not a good thing most of the time as it would create a mix of different font types, colors, weights, etc. in your document and you have to manually reset to make it look consistent.

You can however use a simple trick to bypass the pasting of stylistic info and just paste the textual data. Just use the Apple-Option-Shift-V shortcut to paste and avoid extra work.

The following selection of websites has applied these principles either deliberately or by virtue of the nature of the site to effect their search profile.

1.      en.Wikipedia.com: is almost, always listed first in any search using any search engine. This is because Wikipedia by nature is content rich. It can be said that it is the “king” of content. It has a 9 google ranking and is hit 50,000,000 times per month.

Wikipedia also use a deep linking / interlinking SEO strategy, linking only keywords, and not entire sentences. This expedites the search and helps them move up in page ranking

Wikipedia also uses keywords judiciously these are part of the page title, the url, the headers, and every page containing that search term is also linked across the Wikipedia content.

It’s consistent. Wikipedia doesn’t link a big long sentence, because if they do that they’re diluting the anchor text’s keyword density…and anchor text should be 100% keyword dense (as opposed to body content, which should have a keyword density of about 3-4%).

2.      CNN.COM: Has Google’s highest ranking 10, they use the power of content, cnn.com delivers the latest breaking news and information on the latest top stories, is one of the most watched news on the internet and people from all over the world are downloading stories from this site. They use Microformats, apply standards, and they link their site with social networks. They are getting most of their information from social networks. They are in this way providing and opportunity for people to become part of the news, allowing the users to upload pictures, and videos, this shared content has motivated may people to link  to CNN.

3.      Expedia.com: It is the only travel site with google rank number 9, their SEO strategy  includes: content or on what they call “page factors”, separating the internal linking and the external linking, and making the code clear, eliminating things that might block spiders or hinder search engine performance against the site. One of the interesting elements of their link building strategy lies in partnerships. Expedia have embraced SEO traffic as integral part of their product development, and made a multilingual SEO strategy and don’t just translated web sites.

Se trata de un componente (Add-in), que instalado sobre MS Office 2007 (MS Word), le habilita para la generación, recepción e intercambio de facturas electrónicas en el formato XML “facturae”. La aplicación, utilizando unas plantillas predefinidas y configurables, es capaz de generar la factura, firmarla electrónicamente (con el formato XAdES EPES o XAdES XL) con cualquiera de los certificados de los prestadores de servicios de certificación existentes,  validar su conformidad de esquema Facturae, de Firma electrónica, y de cuadre contable, así como mantener una pequeña gestión histórica del estado de cada factura .

La disponibilidad del código fuente, habilita a los desarrolladores que quieran participar en el proyecto, a ampliar, modificar o personalizar sus características, así como a adaptar dicha solución a sus propias plataformas de factura electrónica (conexión a servicio WEB etc ..).

Uno de los aspectos de innovación aplicados es la configuración del formato OOXML como contenedor del formato facturae, de forma que manteniendo una completa compatibilidad con el formato facturae, hemos podido añadir elementos de aspecto, como el “layout” de la factura o la posición del logo que son completamente configurables.

Hemos probado la aplicación en diferentes configuraciones de Word 2007, basadas en Windows XP, Windows Vista y Windows 7 (las versiones de evaluación disponibles) y va como la seda.

El ranking se hace basado en el número de ingenieros, cursos, y vendedores de software mundialmente. También se usan las máquinas de búsqueda Google, MSN, Yahoo! y YouTube, para calcular el ranking.

Estos teléfonos fueron lanzados al mercado en el año 2003. Se convirtieron en uno de los modelos más populares de la marca finlandesa, que llegó a vender más de 200 millones de unidades del 1100 y sus sucesores en todo el mundo.

El motivo por el que ahora interesa a los delincuentes es que  el software de ciertos modelos del Nokia 1100 permite interceptar las comunicaciones electrónicas de los bancos con sus clientes. Por este motivo, en foros frecuentados por hackers se están comprando a altos precios.

La denuncia procede de la firma de seguridad holandesa Ultrascan Advanced Global Investigations, que empezó a investigar el asunto a partir de una consulta de la policía hace unos meses. Por entonces se empezaban a demandar estos teléfonos en ciertos foros de Internet y se pagaban 5.000 euros por ellos, cifra que ha ido aumentado.

En realidad, los compradores estaban interesados únicamente en los teléfonos producidos en una fábrica de Bochum (Alemania), pues el software incluido en ellos puede ser manipulado para interceptar las contraseñas que los bancos envían a sus clientes para acceder a sus cuentas bancarias.

El procedimiento del fraude es el siguiente: algunos bancos envían a sus clientes un código de un solo uso llamado TAN (Transaction Authentication Number), que se utiliza una sola vez para completar una transacción. Para evitar los ataques de phishing, algunos bancos envían este código a través de un mensaje SMS.

Es ahí donde entra en juego el Nokia 1100, que según estas fuentes puede ser programado para suplantar el número de otra persona. De esta forma, el delincuente intercepta el código TAN y puede acceder a las operaciones bancarias de la víctima.

Según Ultrascan, varios grupos delictivos de Rusia, Marruecos y Rumania están llevando a cabo este tipo de operaciones, que han afectado a bancos de Alemania y Holanda.

Por lo que yo se de seguridad de teléfonos móviles, esto no es posible, ya que la identidad del suscriptor se gestiona en la SIM, no en el teléfono.

Al acceder a la web de Ultrascan no veo la noticia, aunque veo que muchos medios on-line y blogs se han hecho eco de ella.

En mi opinión esta noticia es un “hoax“. A esta opinión contribuye el hecho de que el Nokia 1100 es un teléfono muy barato que todavía se puede conseguir a muy buen precio de segunda mano, lejos de las cifras indicadas.
